On Saturday, April 9, 2022, the Somerset County Bar Association held its first annual Land Use Symposium at Raritan Valley Community College. The event, organized and chaired by Edward Purcell, Esq., included seminars for experienced board members along with the basic course in land use law and planning required by the State of New Jersey for new land use board members. Judge Michael F. O’Neill, the prerogative writs judge for Hunterdon and Somerset Counties, was the keynote speaker during the luncheon. During his talk, Judge O’Neill, provided a list of ten (10) things that board members should always consider when they act on land use cases. Ultimately, it was a great event, that Price Meese was happy to co-sponsor. We will see everyone there next year!
