The State of New Jersey has doubled the amount of liability insurance from the federally mandated $750,000.00 now up to $1,500,000.00. Transportation insurance policy renewals are at a high premium now. It is suggested Commercial Motor Carriers consult with their insurance brokers and/or qualified transportation legal counsel to ensure continuity in operations.
