Ed Purcell Speaks on Wireless Issues at the New Jersey Association of Planning and Zoning Administrators Annual Conference

On June 20, 2022 Ed Purcell presented a seminar on recent developments related to land use and telecommunications law at the New Jersey Association of Planning and Zoning Administrators annual spring conference. Mr. Purcell discussed Section 6409(a) of the Middle Class Tax Relief Act of 2012 (“TRA”). The TRA governs how municipalities must act on applications to collocate onto existing towers and base stations. Mr. Purcell also discussed some important recent decisions related to Small Wireless Facilities in the municipal rights-of-way. In attendance were nearly two hundred zoning officers, planners and other local land use officials.
