Overview

Your property may be ripe for the filing of a tax appeal against the municipal taxing district where the property is located. Of important note, the New Jersey Supreme Court has entered an Order extending the usual filing deadline of April 1, 2020 to the later of May 1, 2020 or to 30 days following termination of the state of emergency entered by Governor Murphy under Executive Order No.103.

This extension applies to appeals that may be filed with County Boards of Taxation, as well as the New Jersey Tax Court.

As you review your financial position during this unprecedented period of corporate and business closures and economic instability, we are here to assist you with any questions you may have concerning residential and commercial property tax challenges in New Jersey.
