Edward W. Purcell
Associate
Mr. Purcell concentrates his practice in the areas of land use, planning and telecommunications law. He has represented both public and private clients and is knowledgeable in all areas of local, state, and federal zoning law, including applications under the Highlands and Pinelands Preservation laws. Mr. Purcell is experienced in guiding projects through the redevelopment process and is an experienced affordable housing attorney.
Mr. Purcell is knowledgeable in the areas of public bidding, public contracts law and the local lands and buildings law. He also represents both public and private entities in property tax appeal matters.
Mr. Purcell has lectured widely on areas related to telecommunications, public rights-of-way, land use and municipal law. He serves as a trustee of the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys and as an editor of the New Jersey Local Government Law Review. Mr. Purcell also serves as a Director of the New Jersey State Bar Association Land Use Law Section.
Previously, Mr. Purcell served as Associate Counsel to the New Jersey State League of Municipalites and was also employed by a large regional law firm with a notable land use and municipal law department.
