Overview

Michael Farhi brings more than four decades of experience representing individuals and small businesses across New Jersey and New York. He is known for his practical, cost-conscious approach to litigation and his strong commitment to advocacy in both business and personal matters.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Farhi has developed a wide-ranging practice that includes contract enforcement, complex business disputes, employment discrimination claims, and advocacy for victims of bullying, abuse, and harassment. He focuses on two things: helping clients avoid disputes through thoughtful “risk avoidance” strategies, and when necessary, litigating aggressively to protect their rights.

Mr. Farhi holds an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible peer rating for legal skill and ethical standards. He also serves as a Certified Mediator in the New Jersey Superior Court and as a member of the District IIB Fee Arbitration Committee, which judges fees disputes between clients and lawyers, roles that underscore his reputation for fairness, integrity, and the ability to resolve disputes efficiently.

He frequently publishes articles on legal developments and shares insights through social media to keep clients and the community informed. He is particularly dedicated to protecting the rights of women in the workplace and in relationships, as well as advocating for children who are victims of bullying in school.

Business Representation & Litigation

Mr. Farhi understands the realities of running a business. Disputes with employees, partners, competitors, vendors, or insurers are inevitable, but he works diligently to resolve them quickly and effectively. Employment Law

From discrimination cases to wage and hour disputes, Mr. Farhi has handled a full spectrum of employment law matters. He drafts policies, procedures, and agreements designed to protect both employers and employees while reducing the risk of costly claims. Advocacy for Victims

Mr. Farhi has built a reputation as a strong advocate for victims of domestic violence, workplace harassment, and child sexual abuse. He recognizes that abuse takes many forms—physical, emotional, digital—and he works tirelessly to ensure survivors have access to justice and protection under New Jersey law.
