Price, Meese, Shulman & D'Arminio actively represents companies in the telecommunications industry. The Firm provides legal services to several wireless telecommunications carriers in connection with leasing and zoning matters. We have also secured approvals for AM radio, microwave relay, satellite dish and other antenna facilities in New York and New Jersey.
The representation of our telecommunications clients requires extensive knowledge of the technical requirements for these communications systems and networks, combined with a command of the legal framework for the approval of such facilities. One of the Firm's principals, Greg Meese, has written extensively on the zoning of telecommunications facilities. His work appears in the national zoning treatise published by Matthew Bender & Company, titled Zoning and Land Use Control. He has also lectured on telecommunications issues, and was the Special Editor of the June 1999 telecommunications issue of New Jersey Lawyer Magazine.
Our services address every aspect of the telecommunications development process. Attorneys and staff members provide assistance to our clients in the early stages of identification and selection of candidate sites for wireless communications towers and antennas. Our commercial leasing attorneys negotiate and prepare leases for the individual sites and perform a comprehensive zoning analysis in order to secure government approvals for proposed network facilities. We review and work to remedy any title, environmental or regulatory issues that may appear in connection with the development of the proposed site.
Our work includes the prosecution and defense of land use litigation involving telecommunication facilities. In addition to zoning, leasing and real estate issues, the Firm counsels companies in this industry with respect to employment issues, contract matters and corporate law issues.
