Condominium Law

Price, Meese, Shulman & D'Arminio is respected by developers and condominium associations for a wide array of services provided to these clients. The Firm has assisted many developers in the formation, registration and administration of condominiums throughout New Jersey and New York. Our attorneys are experienced in all facets of condominium formation, including  statutory compliance with registration, title and recording requirements, and other work required to create the condominium. These services also include representation of the sponsors and developers after the initial offering, until control is ceded to the condominium association.

In addition, we represent condominium associations with respect to their daily operations, the resale of units, disputes with sponsors and their relationships with municipal governments and regulatory agencies.

The Firm has earned the distinction of representing Bergen County Habitat for Humanity in the formation of affordable housing condominiums throughout the county. Recent work includes the completion of Habitat for Humanity's Teaneck, New Jersey project, as well as a project in Hackensack that was completed in the summer of 2000. We are proud to provide pro bono services to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and other charities.

Recognition as counselors to condominium developers and owners has been achieved as a result of our experience and familiarity with this complex area of law.
