Gail L. Price concentrates in the areas of zoning and planning, representing commercial, industrial and residential developers in connection with land development and construction related issues.  She represents national supermarket and hotel chains, developers of assisted living and congregate care facilities, pharmacies, restaurants and other retail chains in securing government approval for the development of corporate owned and leased properties.  She is experienced with all federal and state land use and environmental regulations and has represented national corporations on zoning issues of first impression from the trial court level to the New Jersey Supreme Court.  

Ms. Price is counsel to the Harrington Park Planning Board and the Village of Ridgewood Planning Board and formerly served as counsel to other Bergen County municipal planning boards.  She has served as a trustee for the New Jersey State Bar Association Land Use Section and also serves as a trustee to the Bergen County Bar Association (BCBA), where she co-chairs the Use Law Section.  Ms. Price is a former trustee of the New Jersey Institute of Municipal Attorneys, is an associate member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a member of Industrial Commercial Real Estate Women of New Jersey.  She graduated cum laude from Lehigh University (1979) andreceived her J. D. from Seton Hall University School of Law (1982).  Ms. Price served a judicial clerkship in the Tax Court of New Jersey.  She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, the District of Columbia, the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Price currently is serving a 3 year term on the Lehigh University Board of Trustees (07-). Ms. Price is a founding Board Member of the College of Arts & Sciences Advisory Board at Lehigh University and completed her term (’06-’07) as President of the Lehigh University Alumni Association where she represented the school’s more than 55,000 alumni. She sits as Alumni Trustee for the LUAA Board. Ms. Price has also served as President of the Class of 1979 and had participated as a member of the Presidential Party and speaker at the Inauguration of the University’s 13th President, Dr. Alice Gast. She sits on the Alumni Advisors Outreach Committee and as a member of the President’s Council on Women. She was honored by Lehigh as Young Alumnae of the Year in 1984 and as the Honors Convocation Speaker in 1988.

Ms. Price is very active with civic and charitable organizations.  She has served as chairman of the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes, North Jersey Division, is Chairperson for that Division’s Annual Harvest Ball, a black-tie gala that is celebrating its 27th Anniversary in 2009, and has been awarded the March of Dimes NJ Chapter Volunteer of the Year Award.  She is an active member of the Women United In Philanthropy (Bergen County), the College Club of Ridgewood and is on the Advisory Board for the Paterson Habitat for Humanity.  She also has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Volunteer Center of Bergen County and is a former board member for the Girl Scout Council of Bergen County and the American Stage Company.

In 2008 and 2009, Ms. Price was named one of the Top 40 Women of Influence in New Jersey Real Estate by Real Estate Forum Magazine and was featured in the Real Estate New Jersey.  In 2004, she received the Rose and Service Woman of Achievements Award from the NJ Association of Women Business Owners, Bergen Chapter.  Ms. Price has served as an Adjunct Professor at Bergen Community College and has lectured to many different groups on issues relating to land use and zoning law.  She has been recognized for her accomplishments by Who’s Who Among American Business Women and Who’s Who in American Law.
